Order of Australia for Bruce Langford Jones

On behalf of everyone at Langford Jones Homes, we would like to say a huge congratulations to the founder of our over 40 year old business, Bruce Langford-Jones.

It was announced on Australia Day that he will be receiving an Order of Australia (OAM) medal. The team here at Langford Jones Homes are super proud. What an achievement! Well done Bruce.

Bruce Langford Jones, founder of Langford Jones Homes which has a strong Bass Coast presence, received an Order Of Australia medal (OAM) recently for his contribution to the building industry and to golf.
Bruce has been managing director of Langford Jones Homes and a tireless advocate for the building industry for more than 35 years.
A life member of the HIA, he’s also a former HIA national president and HIA national board member.
Bruce has chaired HIA’s National Planning Committee as well as the National Skills Initiative for the building industry on behalf of the Federal Government.
He chaired the Victorian HIA Training and Development Committee and was a long term member of the Victorian regional executive committee.
Bruce has given outstanding service to the industry and in particular to the HIA.
Bruce’s OAM was also for services to golf – in particular to his involvement as club captain at both Kingston Heath and Sorrento golf clubs, along with his role as deputy chair at Golf Australia (2006-2012) and broader contributions over more than 25 years.
